These one of a kind Fellowship Fabric Wraps are created from the actual fabric that was designed and woven in NZ's "Middle Earth"TM and used for the original Fellowship Cloaks in the Movie Trilogy. The unique copyright, showcases not only Stansborough designs, but also the Artisans who weave these textiles on historic looms. The yarns used, are spun from the one of a kind Stansborough Grey sheep, the wool is unique in the world, and used to weave many fabrics for the movies. Stansborough creates its own textiles for a range of clients worldwide and was delighted to have their exclusive designs used to create the special costumes for the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Natural, sustainable, biodegradable and no chemicals are used in the processing of this incredible product.

Again this stunning piece of  Hobbit memorabilia is hand crafted by the team at Stansborough NZ from 100% Stansborough Grey Wool and woven traditionally  on our historic looms, which date back to the 1890's.   The special lustrous natural grey fibres and yarns, were also used to create the famous Fellowship Cloaks from Lord of the Rings Trilogy, along with many other designer textiles woven for this wonderful Trilogy exclusively,  by Stansborough.   Stansborough Grey sheep are a rare,  historic breed and therefore have significant ties to an earlier time,  where Elves, Dwarves, Wizards ruled the Mountains and Valleys of "Middle Earth"TM. A modern take on this classic design, traditionally crafted from 100% Stansborough Grey Wool or a mix of Wool, Alpaca, Merino or Bamboo. Pure, natural and 100% NZ made, this is an elegant timeless accessory for day time or evening wear (with a bit of sparkle)  If you have a Stansborough favourite textile throw from our collection, just let us know and we can create an individual Stansborough Dolman just for you. Trims are optional. A perfect, timeless accessory for today's busy women.

Price ranges from NZ$340.00 to NZ$380.00 - dependent on trim and weight of textile (can also be made slightly shorter if required)

Historically, The Dolman was worn as a ladies outer garment, with wide cape like arrangements instead of sleeves. This was a favourite style of mantle worn by fashionable women in the 1870s and 80's.  These versatile stylish accessories can be worn in so many different ways , so light warm and can be used in place of a coat or jacket if you are rushing about.
